Three Dead, Several Journalists Injured In Enugu Auto Crash

Three people have died and several journalists have been injured in an auto crash in Enugu State. The accident occurred on Saturday night along the Enugu Abakaliki Road as the media crew and others were returning from a public engagement. According to reports, the victims were part of a convoy heading back from an official event when their vehicle was involved in a collision. Details of how the crash happened were still emerging at the time of filing this report. Among the injured are journalists from national broadcast organisations. El Rufai’s Mother’s Remains Arrive Abuja For Burial

The remains of Hajiya Umma, mother of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El Rufai, have arrived in Abuja for burial. She died on Friday in Cairo, Egypt, where she had been receiving medical treatment. Family sources said her body arrived in Abuja on Sunday morning ahead of funeral rites. NDLEA Uncovers Cocaine Hidden In Dry Stock Fish Heads

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have intercepted a large consignment of cocaine concealed in the heads of imported dry stock fish in Lagos. Troops arrest three suspects in Benue, recover AK-47 rifle, ammunition

Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke have arrested three suspects and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a clearance operation in Benue State.
