Comic actor Okemesi dies after health complications

Renowned comic actor Bamidele Tope Saint, popularly known as Okemesi, has died following health complications. He passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, while receiving treatment in a hospital.​ His colleague Tony Montana said Okemesi slipped into a coma after reacting to medication given at the hospital, a complication that eventually led to his death.
