Une réponse innovante à l’exclusion financière
Lancé en 2014 par les autorités togolaises, le Fonds National de la Finance Inclusive (FNFI) est devenu un pilier de la lutte contre la pauvreté au Togo. Son objectif : offrir aux populations exclues du circuit bancaire traditionnel un accès équitable au crédit, à l’épargne et à la formation financière.
Le FNFI cible en priorité :
- Les agriculteurs
- Les artisans
- Les femmes entrepreneures
- Les jeunes diplômés sans emploi
- Les travailleurs du secteur informel
Des produits adaptés aux réalités du terrain
L’approche du FNFI repose sur des produits financiers personnalisés comme :
- APSEF (Accès des Pauvres aux Services Financiers)
- AJSEF (Accès des Jeunes aux Services Financiers)
- AGRISEF (Crédit Agricole pour l’Inclusion Financière)
Ces crédits sont à faibles taux d’intérêt, remboursables en plusieurs tranches, et accompagnés d’une formation obligatoire en gestion financière.
10 ans d’impact sur l’entrepreneuriat local
En une décennie, le FNFI a permis à des centaines de milliers de Togolais de :
- Lancer une activité génératrice de revenus
- Financer des soins de santé ou la scolarité des enfants
- Développer leur résilience face aux chocs économiques
“Le FNFI n’est pas juste un guichet de crédit. C’est un levier de transformation sociale”, souligne Togo Matin dans son édition de ce lundi.

Outre le financement, le FNFI met l’accent sur l’éducation financière, avec des modules sur :
- La planification budgétaire
- La gestion du microcrédit
- L’épargne volontaire
Cette démarche vise à renforcer l’autonomie économique des bénéficiaires sur le long terme.

Avec le FNFI, le Togo trace une voie concrète vers une économie plus équitable, où chaque citoyen, quel que soit son statut social, peut accéder aux outils nécessaires à son développement personnel et professionnel.
Alors que d’autres pays de la sous-région observent ce modèle avec intérêt, le FNFI s’impose comme une référence africaine en matière de finance sociale et inclusive.

ECG Explains Power Outages in Greater Accra and Western Regions Following Technical Faults
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has attributed ongoing power interruptions in parts of the Greater Accra and Western regions to separate technical faults affecting its distribution network. In a statement issued on Monday, June 8, 2026, the power distributor said a technical fault at the Nsawam Primary Station has disrupted electricity supply to several communities within the Accra West operational area. The affected communities include Hebron, Medie, Samsam, Satellite, Koleman and nearby areas, where residents have been experiencing intermittent power outages. Three Rescued as Rescue Teams Search for Trapped Victims After North Industrial Area Building Collapse
Rescue teams are continuing efforts to locate and extract individuals believed to be trapped beneath the rubble of a collapsed building in Accra’s North Industrial Area following a structural failure that has left several people injured.
