Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed to respond after accusing Ukraine of launching a deadly drone strike on a student dormitory in the occupied eastern Ukrainian region of Luhansk. A Ukrainian infantry soldier known by the call sign “Kenya” has returned from one of the harshest experiences of the war after spending 225 days trapped inside a front-line foxhole near the eastern city of Kostyantynivka. Deadly Russian Strikes Hit Kyiv Again

At least eight people, including a 12-year-old girl, were killed in Kyiv after Russia launched one of its largest overnight drone and missile attacks on Ukraine since the beginning of the war in 2022. Ukrainian emergency services said the victims were found under the rubble of a heavily damaged apartment building in the capital.
