Al Ahli line up big summer move for Paul Onuachu

Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli are reportedly preparing an ambitious bid to sign Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu from Turkish club Trabzonspor this summer.​ Reports in Spain and Nigeria say the Jeddah club see the in form forward as a priority target as they plan for next season. Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has continued his red hot form in Turkey, netting his 17th league goal of the season in Trabzonspor’s 2 1 away win over Gaziantep. The 31 year old forward struck the winner in the 27th minute, reacting quickest in the box to fire home from close range and complete a first half comeback for the visitors. Osimhen, Ndidi, others leave Super Eagles AFCON camp

Four Super Eagles players have left Nigeria’s camp after the team’s victory over Egypt in the third-place match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.​ Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, Paul Onuachu and Chidozie Awaziem have all returned to their clubs in Europe following the game. Osimhen, Ndidi and Onuachu play in Turkey, while Awaziem is based in France.​ The four players departed Casablanca on a private jet shortly after the playoff match. Because of their exit, they will not attend the AFCON award ceremony scheduled to hold after Sunday’s final, as bronze medals were not presented on Saturday.

Onyemaechi’s possible Trabzonspor switch gathers pace

Super Eagles left back Bruno Onyemaechi is attracting strong interest from Turkish giants Trabzonspor, raising the prospect of another Nigerian international moving to the Turkish Super Lig.
