Troops arrest 65‑year‑old woman over drugs for Boko Haram

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a 65‑year‑old woman, Hauwa Abulazeez, for allegedly supplying cannabis sativa to Boko Haram terrorists in parts of Borno State. She was picked up in Askira Uba Local Government Area during Operation Desert Sanity V.​ Military spokesman Lt Col Sani Uba said Hauwa is suspected to be a key conduit, distributing cannabis to Boko Haram elements operating around Askira Uba, Rumirgo, Gwahi, Wamdiyo, Uvu and Gaya, as well as several nearby communities. Troops Arrest 86 Terrorists, Rescue 26 Hostages Nationwide

The Defence Headquarters has announced significant gains from military operations across Nigeria over the past week, resulting in the arrest of 86 terrorists, collaborators, and oil thieves.
