Ukraine’s Capital Kyiv Hit by Massive Missile Drone Attack
Ukraine's capital Kyiv was hit by a massive Russian missile and drone attack early Sunday, killing at least four people and injuring dozens more across the city. Russia launched over 670 attack drones and 56 missiles against Ukraine overnight, including ballistic, aeroballistic and cruise missiles, with Kyiv remaining the primary target. Explosions reverberated through the city shortly after 1 a.m. local time, shortly after Ukraine's air force warned that Russia might deploy its feared Oreshnik hypersonic ballistic missile. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said at least three people were injured and several residential buildings were damaged across the city, with debris on fire at a school in the city center.
