Troops Kill 50 ISWAP Terrorists in North-East

Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), have killed at least 50 Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in renewed operations in Nigeria’s North-East, the military has said. According to a statement by the Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force, troops neutralised the terrorists while repelling a coordinated ISWAP assault on the headquarters of the 27 Task Force Brigade in Buni Gari and a nearby checkpoint in Yobe State.
