Spain winger Lamine Yamal has suffered a hamstring injury but is still expected to be fit in time for this summer’s 2026 World Cup, Barcelona have confirmed.​ “Tests have confirmed that first team player Lamine Yamal has a hamstring injury in his left leg,” the club said in a statement on Thursday. Iwobi suffers hamstring scare in Fulham draw with Brentford

Alex Iwobi picked up an injury scare in Fulham’s goalless London derby draw with Brentford on Saturday.​ The Super Eagles midfielder limped off shortly before half time after feeling discomfort in his hamstring. He was replaced by his Nigerian international teammate Samuel Chukwueze.​ Fulham head coach Marco Silva has however moved to calm fears of a serious problem.
