The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into the gruesome murder of interior designer Deborah Moses, popularly known as Deb’rah Porsche. She was allegedly killed by her ex-boyfriend, identified as Lintex, late on Wednesday night in her Lagos residence. According to eyewitnesses, the suspect, a native of Otukpo in Benue State, disguised as a dispatch rider to gain access to the estate where Deborah lived. Police Neutralise Wanted Notorious Criminal In Ebonyi

The Ebonyi State Police Command has confirmed the death of Isaiah Okoronkwo, a notorious suspected criminal kingpin accused of terrorising the Iyonu community in Ishielu Local Government Area. In a statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Joshua Ukandu, the suspect had long been on the police wanted list due to his involvement in violent crimes and robberies in the area. Ukandu said the operation was carried out on 29th August 2025 by operatives of the Command’s Crack Squad, following credible intelligence on the criminals’ hideout in Iyonu Forest. “During the clearance operation, the hoodlums engaged operatives in a gun battle. The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Theophilis Anwana, a Nigerian national convicted of second-degree rape in Baltimore, Maryland. ICE’s Baltimore field office confirmed the arrest in a statement released on Saturday, August 30, 2025. According to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, Anwana was previously sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment in Bel Air. He has also been under a final order of removal since September 2021, meaning he was due to be deported after completing his prison term. Military Officers Remanded After Alleged Beating Deaths in Kumasi

Seven military officers and one civilian employee were remanded into custody following the deaths of two men in Kumasi. The incident unfolded after the victims were allegedly arrested by the soldiers on suspicion of stealing an iPhone. The victims, later identified as Kwame Adu and Kwabena Sarfo, were detained, severely beaten, and dumped in a bush in the Danyame area.The police launched an investigation after a missing person's report led them to discover the bodies at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). Painter Caught on CCTV Stealing GH₵1M Cables from Bank of Ghana Site

A painter working on the new Bank of Ghana headquarters at Ridge, Accra, has been remanded in police custody for allegedly stealing copper cables worth GH₵1,035,500. The suspect, Ahmed Mohammed Lawal, was identified through CCTV footage and later arrested.According to prosecutors, Lawal and two accomplices—who are still at large—broke into the Energy Farm section of the construction site on February 16, 2025. Using a scaffold, they gained access and cut several bundles of copper cables before making away with them.Investigations revealed that Lawal sold his share of the stolen items at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, earning GH₵2,000.
