Arsenal Is EPL Champions After City Draw at Bournemouth
Arsenal has won the English Premier League title for the first time in 22 years after Manchester City drew 1-1 with Bournemouth on Tuesday. The Gunners end their longest wait for a Premier League championship since the legendary Invincibles season of 2004 under Arsène Wenger. This is Arsenal's 14th top-flight title overall and their fourth in the Premier League era. Manchester City needed to win their last two matches to keep the title race alive. However they drew at Bournemouth leaving Arsenal with an unbeatable four-point lead at the top with just one game remaining. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has finally won the title after finishing second for three consecutive seasons.
