Wizkid, Asake drop joint EP ‘Real (Vol. 1)’

Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Asake have released their highly anticipated joint EP titled Real (Vol. 1). The project contains four tracks: Turbulence, Jogodo, Iskolodo and Alaye.​ The EP follows the success of their lead single Jogodo, which dropped on January 16 and quickly racked up massive streaming numbers across platforms. The duo announced the full project on Instagram with a promo video captioned “Real EP Vol. 1 ti jade bayi”.​ Real (Vol. 1) marks a new milestone in Wizkid and Asake’s growing partnership, after previous collaborations on songs such as MMS and Bad Girl. Both artistes enjoyed strong solo runs in 2025, with Wizkid’s Morayo emerging as Apple Music Nigeria’s most streamed album and Asake’s Why Love topping the charts as the most streamed song.​

Billionaire businessman Deji Adeleke has formally denied long running claims that his son, Afrobeats star Davido, is the father of a 12 year old girl named Anuoluwapo from Ibadan. Actress Sarah Martins hospitalised after severe health scare

Actress Sarah Martins has been hospitalised after suffering a serious health scare that left her briefly unable to feel parts of her body.
