AfroBasket: D’Tigers Return From Angola Today

Ezewuike, a fashion designer and mother of one who runs Golden Star Creation in Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos, was intercepted on Friday, August 22, 2025, at a bus terminal in Jibowu, Yaba, while trying to deliver the drugs to customers in Abuja. A search of her residence led to the recovery of 200 grams of cutting agents used in processing cocaine. Police Dismantle Drug Cartel, Arrest Four in Akwa Ibom

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has uncovered a drug cartel operating in Uyo, arresting four suspects and seizing large quantities of illicit substances during coordinated raids. Police spokesperson DSP Timfon John, in a statement on Sunday, said the arrests followed intelligence-led operations targeting criminal hideouts across the metropolis.
