Victor Boniface Returns To Bayer Leverkusen After Medical Tests In Milan

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has returned to Bayer Leverkusen after undergoing medical examinations with AC Milan, casting doubt on his anticipated move to Serie A.

The 23-year-old forward, who has been a standout performer in the Bundesliga, spent two days in Milan as both clubs awaited a final decision on his fitness. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Boniface traveled back to Germany on Sunday while awaiting clarity on the deal.

Although the medicals were completed, AC Milan has yet to approve the transfer, leaving Boniface’s future uncertain as the summer window nears its close. The striker had been eager to complete the switch, having attracted interest across Europe following his strong campaign with Leverkusen.

For now, Boniface is expected to rejoin training with Bayer Leverkusen, where he has played a key role in attack. The situation remains fluid, with fans and analysts closely monitoring developments in the final days of the transfer market.
