Oyo orders traders, drivers back to Iwo Road bus terminal

The Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority has ordered traders and commercial drivers operating along major roads around Iwo Road in Ibadan to vacate the roadside and return to the Iwo Road Bus Terminal. The agency said the directive is aimed at restoring order, easing traffic congestion and improving environmental cleanliness in the area. Court clears ex Aviation Minister Oduah, aide in N2.4b fraud case

An FCT High Court sitting in Maitama has discharged former Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah and her former aide, Gloria Odita, from an alleged N2.4 billion fraud case brought by the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation. Justice Hamza Muazu issued the order after the prosecution formally withdrew the charges against them and filed an amended case listing only two companies as defendants. The companies, Sobora International Limited and Global Offshore and Marine Limited, are linked to the former minister. In the amended two count charge, Sobora International was accused of unlawfully possessing N838 million, while Global Offshore and Marine was alleged to have unlawfully possessed N1.629 billion.
