Police unseal PDP secretariat as factions clash over control

The Nigeria Police Force has reopened the Peoples Democratic Party national secretariat, Wadata Plaza in Abuja, handing control to a faction backed by Minister of the FCT Nyesom Wike. Factional National Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed announced the development in a statement issued by National Publicity Secretary Jungudo Mohammed on Saturday in Abuja. He said both the secretariat and the party’s presidential campaign office, Legacy House in Maitama, were unsealed in line with valid court orders.
