Werder Bremen hand Boniface timely boost ahead of derby

Besiktas line up summer move for Arokodare

Turkish giants Besiktas are reportedly planning a summer move for Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare. According to Turkish outlet Besiktas Yetiyor, the Istanbul club want to reunite Arokodare with his former Genk strike partner Oh Hyeon gyu, who already plays for them. The club believes the understanding both players built in Belgium could help strengthen their attack in the Turkish Super Lig if they are brought together again. Arokodare left Genk for Wolves last summer in a deal worth about €26 million. AFCON 2027: Super Eagles get final tournament dates as they chase fourth title

The Confederation of African Football has confirmed that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will hold from June 19 to July 18 2027, giving Nigeria’s Super Eagles a clear final date for their next title push. The tournament will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania – the first time three countries will stage AFCON together. Osimhen resumes training after forearm surgery

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has resumed light training after undergoing surgery on a fractured right forearm. His club Galatasaray confirmed that he has returned to the gym as part of a structured recovery programme.
