NAHCON Hails Lagos, Southwest Pilgrims for Discipline and Compliance

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has praised pilgrims from Lagos State and the Southwest region for their exemplary discipline and compliance during the ongoing Hajj pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NAHCON officials commended Lagos and Southwest pilgrims for maintaining high standards of conduct throughout the pilgrimage rites, describing them as among the most disciplined state contingents in the Kingdom. The commission highlighted their orderly behaviour during ceremonies at Mount Arafat, Mina, and other holy sites. Lagos Announces Traffic Restrictions in Ikeja for Capital City Race

The Lagos State Government has announced temporary traffic restrictions on key routes in Ikeja on Saturday to facilitate the second edition of the Capital City Race, scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. The 10-kilometre event, themed “One Run Many Journey,” will start from Ikeja Shopping Mall, pass through Billings Way, Kudirat Abiola Way, Opebi Link Bridge, Adeniyi Jones, and Oba Akran by LASUTH, ending at Arch Bishop Vining Memorial Church on Oba Akinjobi Way. Affected routes will be closed intermittently, and adjoining streets will remain accessible.
