Russian Strikes Kill 22 Across Ukraine
At least 22 people were killed and more than 100 injured after Russia launched a large-scale overnight missile and drone assault across Ukraine, targeting multiple cities and critical infrastructure, Ukrainian officials said on Tuesday. The deadliest strike occurred in the central city of Dnipro, where 16 people lost their lives, including two children. Rescue teams searching through the wreckage of damaged residential buildings recovered the bodies of an eight-year-old boy and several women trapped beneath the rubble. In the capital, Kyiv, six people were reported killed as explosions rocked the city during the early hours of the morning. Residential buildings, energy facilities, and other civilian infrastructure suffered significant damage.
