Israeli strikes kill Iran Guards intelligence chief amid US–Iran tensions

US–Israeli strikes have killed the head of intelligence of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Majid Khademi, in a fresh escalation of the ongoing confrontation with Tehran. The Guards announced on Monday that Khademi was killed “at dawn” in what they described as a terrorist attack by the American‑Zionist enemy. Khademi was a key figure in one of Iran’s most powerful security organs, overseeing sensitive intelligence operations at home and abroad.
