Femi Adebayo explains how Ageshinkole 2 beat piracy
Nollywood star and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has revealed how he and his partners tackled piracy on his latest blockbuster, Ageshinkole 2: King of Thieves 2, by opting for community screenings instead of a traditional cinema‑only release. He said piracy control was fully handled by technical partner Circuit TV, whose distribution structure helped protect the movie from illegal copying while it toured Nigerian communities. “Piracy was fully handled by Circuit TV,” Adebayo explained, noting that the company has a “wonderful structure” that makes it extremely difficult for content in its system to be pirated.
