The Nigerian Army has neutralised two terrorists, arrested 32 suspects and rescued 13 kidnapped victims during major counter-insurgency and anti-crime operations conducted within the last 24 hours across multiple regions of the country. A senior military source at Army Headquarters disclosed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday that the coordinated operations were executed in the North East, North Central, North West, South East, and South South. In the North-East, troops of Operation Hadin Kai arrested three suspected ISWAP/JAS logistics suppliers in Borno and Yobe states. NAF, Ground Troops Kill 30+ Insurgents in Borno Joint Operation

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in collaboration with ground troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), has neutralised more than 30 insurgents in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State. NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed in a statement on Friday, September 5, 2025, that the joint operation followed reports of heavy terrorist engagement against friendly forces at Dar-El-Jamal village. Troops Neutralise 12 Terrorists, Recover Arms in Borno

Troops of the Joint Task Force, North East Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), have neutralised 12 suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State. Mafa, located about 60 kilometres from Maiduguri, has been one of the hotspots of insurgent activities in Borno Central. According to security sources, the operation took place between August 29 and 30, 2025, with troops, supported by local security outfits and the Air Component Command, carrying out coordinated long-range commando offensives. During the operation, troops cleared terrorist hideouts in Tamsu Ngamdu, Dalakaleri, and Gaza. On reaching Loskori Kura, the troops engaged insurgents in a heavy gun battle, killing 12.
