Sowore condemns US airstrikes on Nigerian soil
Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has strongly criticised the recent United States military strikes on Nigerian soil. He described the attacks as a violation of Nigeria’s sovereignty and a dangerous step for the country. Sowore argued that no foreign country has the right to launch military operations inside Nigeria under any guise. He said allowing such actions sends a signal that Nigeria cannot protect itself and is willing to hand over its security to external powers.
