Army Vows to Discipline Soldier in Ondo Driver’s Death

The Nigerian Army has vowed to expedite disciplinary action against a soldier involved in an altercation that led to the death of a commercial bus driver in Ondo State. According to a statement from the 32 Artillery Brigade, the incident occurred on October 13th at a military checkpoint in Akunu-Akoko. The soldier was called by passengers to help them get a refund from the driver after the bus developed mechanical issues. Four Soldiers Killed in Boko Haram Attack on Borno Military Base

Four Nigerian soldiers were killed and five others injured when Boko Haram terrorists attacked a military base in Ngamdu, along the Damaturu–Maiduguri highway in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving the welfare of soldiers and the living conditions of their families.
