Russian Strikes on Kyiv Kill at Least 11 People
At least 11 people were killed and 46 others injured after Russia launched another wave of overnight missile strikes on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, according to local authorities. Among the injured are five children. Three additional fatalities were also reported in the surrounding Kyiv region. Emergency crews continue search and rescue operations at more than 20 affected locations, where several residential buildings suffered severe damage. In some districts, apartment blocks partially collapsed, raising concerns that more victims may still be trapped beneath the rubble. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said ballistic missiles struck multiple areas of the city, sparking fires in residential complexes. Warehouses and a vehicle repair workshop were also damaged during the attacks.
