Robertson to leave Liverpool at end of the season
Andy Robertson will leave Liverpool at the end of the season when his contract expires in the summer, the club has confirmed. The 32 year old Scotland captain joined Liverpool from Hull City in 2017 for £8 million and has since won two Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League among nine trophies at Anfield. In a farewell video, Robertson said it was the right time to move on, adding that he would look back on his nine years at the club with a big smile. He was close to leaving in January, when Tottenham Hotspur agreed a deal in principle to sign him, but Liverpool pulled out because they could not recall Kostas Tsimikas from his loan at Roma.
