Police bust job scam kidnap gang luring victims to Rivers

The Rivers State Police Command has uncovered and arrested a kidnap syndicate that lured victims from Lagos and other states to Rivers with fake job offers. Police said the abduction of one Chukwudekwu Emmanuel, a Lagos resident kidnapped on 17 February 2026 in Etche Local Government Area, led to the breakthrough. Operatives attached to the Emohua area, using technology driven strategies introduced by Inspector General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu, arrested three key suspects on 14 April 2026. NDLEA Uncovers Cocaine Hidden In Dry Stock Fish Heads

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have intercepted a large consignment of cocaine concealed in the heads of imported dry stock fish in Lagos. Female passenger dies, six injured in Lagos expressway crash

A female passenger has died and six other people have been injured in a road accident along the Oworonsoki Apapa Expressway in Lagos.
