Kano assembly by elections peaceful but record low turnout

The Kano State House of Assembly by elections held on Saturday were largely peaceful but recorded very low voter turnout in many polling units. The exercise took place in Kano Municipal and Ungogo local government areas to fill two vacant seats in the state assembly.
