Hilda Baci: My Record-Breaking Jollof Pot Is Not for Sale
Guinness World Record holder Hilda Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has announced that the giant pot used in her record-breaking jollof rice feat will not be sold or auctioned. Speaking at a press conference on Saturday at Gino Nigeria’s Lagos office, Hilda described the pot as a powerful symbol of history, faith, and innovation. “Many people have asked about the pot, some even suggested we auction it,” she said. “But that pot represents a lot of beautiful things — it’s a symbol of history, of faith, and of innovation.
