Tinubu condemns Borno abductions, urges Nigerians to resist fear

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the recent terrorist attack and mass abductions in Ngoshe community, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, and urged Nigerians not to give in to fear. He directed the Armed Forces and other security agencies to urgently rescue all those abducted during the assault, which was carried out by suspected Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists. The attack left several people dead and many others kidnapped shortly after residents had broken their fast on Wednesday evening. Troops kill eight terrorists in Borno, seize RPGs, guns and armed drone

Nigerian troops have killed eight Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists in separate clashes in Borno State and recovered heavy weapons, including rocket propelled grenades, rifles and an armed drone. 27 killed as Boko Haram, ISWAP raid Adamawa community

At least 27 people have been killed in a joint Boko Haram and ISWAP attack on Shuwari Sholi community in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State.​ The terrorists stormed the area in the early hours of Wednesday, shooting residents and burning houses in an overnight raid that lasted several hours. Troops kill five terrorists, rescue three abducted children in Borno

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised five terrorists and rescued three abducted children in separate operations carried out in Borno State. The Joint Task Force said the operations took place between February 20 and 21 as part of ongoing efforts to crush insurgent groups in the North East. Spokesman for Operation Hadin Kai, Lieutenant Colonel Sanni Uba, said troops on fighting patrol made contact with suspected JAS and ISWAP members around Sabsawa village. First batch of US troops arrive Nigeria for anti terror mission

US deploys small military team to Nigeria

The United States has deployed a small military team to Nigeria to support the fight against Boko Haram, ISWAP and armed bandit groups in the north.​ General Dagvin R.M.
