One killed, two injured as police foil kidnap attempt in Ibadan

Two killed, many injured as speeding truck rams vehicles, pedestrians in Ibadan

A tragic multiple crash at Soka Junction in Ibadan, along the Ibadan–Lagos Expressway, has left two people dead and several others injured. The accident involved a speeding truck, multiple vehicles and pedestrians at the busy junction. According to the Oyo State Police Command, the truck was reportedly travelling at high speed when the driver lost control near the junction. The vehicle then crashed into other motorists and pedestrians close to the road, causing chaos in the area. Oyo orders traders, drivers back to Iwo Road bus terminal

The Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority has ordered traders and commercial drivers operating along major roads around Iwo Road in Ibadan to vacate the roadside and return to the Iwo Road Bus Terminal. Title: Oyo says N30bn Bodija explosion fund remains untouched
