NAHCON Hails Lagos, Southwest Pilgrims for Discipline and Compliance
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has praised pilgrims from Lagos State and the Southwest region for their exemplary discipline and compliance during the ongoing Hajj pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NAHCON officials commended Lagos and Southwest pilgrims for maintaining high standards of conduct throughout the pilgrimage rites, describing them as among the most disciplined state contingents in the Kingdom. The commission highlighted their orderly behaviour during ceremonies at Mount Arafat, Mina, and other holy sites. During the Hajj, NAHCON led approximately 50,000 Nigerian pilgrims, including strong contingents from Lagos and Southwest states, in special prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and the nation's peace and stability at Mount Arafat.
