Osimhen resumes training after forearm surgery
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has resumed light training after undergoing surgery on a fractured right forearm. His club Galatasaray confirmed that he has returned to the gym as part of a structured recovery programme. Osimhen sustained the injury during a UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool in mid March, following a collision with defender Ibrahima Konaté. The forward subsequently had successful surgery in Istanbul and was discharged from hospital to begin rehabilitation. In their latest medical update, Galatasaray said Osimhen has moved beyond the initial healing phase and is now doing controlled indoor sessions focused on fitness and strength building. The training currently involves gym work and individual exercises, with medical staff closely monitoring his progress.
