Adaklu District Begins Construction of Classroom Blocks and Teachers’ Accommodation for Six Schools
The Adaklu District Assembly has commenced a major educational infrastructure project aimed at improving learning conditions and teacher retention across six communities in the district. The District Chief Executive for Adaklu District and Dean of Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the Volta Region, Jerry Yaw Ameko, officially cut sod for the construction of classroom blocks and teachers’ accommodation for selected basic schools within the district. The project will provide modern three-unit classroom blocks equipped with offices and staff common rooms, alongside six-unit teachers’ bungalows fitted with bedrooms, washrooms, storage facilities, car parks, electricity, water systems, and perimeter fencing. The beneficiary communities include Adaklu Kodzobi, Adaklu Sikama, Adaklu Dawanu, Adaklu Kpodzi, Adaklu Akatsixoe, and Adaklu Wayanu.
