D’Prince Decries Monetised Cyberbullying in Entertainment
Nigerian singer and music executive D’Prince has raised concern over what he describes as the growing monetisation of cyberbullying in the entertainment industry. He said some podcasts and online platforms are now built around paid narratives, controversy, and targeted attacks on public figures. According to him, the trend has turned online harassment into a business model. D’Prince warned that the pressure on creatives is already high, and adding public abuse only makes the situation worse. He said no amount of online attention is worth the mental health, dignity, or emotional well-being of an artist.
