Content creator Carter Efe has become Africa’s most followed streamer on Twitch, after his recent high profile livestream with Afrobeats superstar Davido. He has now surpassed fellow comedian Shank Comics, crossing more than 406,000 followers on the platform. The collaboration with Davido triggered a major spike in viewership and followers for Efe. Their joint livestream peaked at about 83,000 viewers, setting a new record for the most watched Twitch stream from Africa.
