Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, known as Davido, has been nominated again for the Grammy Awards ahead of the 2026 ceremony. Davido celebrated the achievement with fans on Instagram by dancing to his song With You and posting a message that said, “All Glory To God! Job Not Done.” His post has received widespread congratulations from fans, fellow artists, and friends across social media.
Davido’s track With You, featuring Omah Lay, earned him a spot in the Best African Music Performance category at the 68th Grammy Awards, which will be held on February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Other nominees in this category are Burna Boy’s Love, Wizkid and Ayra Starr’s Gimme Dat, Hope and Love by Eddy Kenzo featuring Mehran Matin, and Push 2 Start by Tyla.
This is Davido’s second consecutive Grammy recognition, following nominations in 2025 for his album Timeless and its singles Unavailable and Feel. Although he did not win last year, he remains one of Nigeria’s most influential global artists.
Burna Boy also received nominations this year, including Best African Music Performance and Best Global Music Album. Burna Boy holds a record for seven consecutive Grammy nominations, with 13 nominations and one win for Twice As Tall in 2021.
This year, Kendrick Lamar leads the list with nine nominations, followed by Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Cirkut, who each earned seven.
The Recording Academy will honor music released between September 2024 and August 2025 across 95 categories at the event.
