Just in: Tinubu arrives Nairobi for Africa‑France summit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of the Africa‑France Summit themed “Africa Forward: Africa‑France Partnerships for Innovation and Growth.” His aircraft touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at about 12:15 a.m. local time on Monday, where he was received by Kenyan officials and Nigerian diplomats. Tinubu’s trip to Nairobi is the second leg of a three nation tour that began in France and will end in Rwanda later in the week. In France, he held meetings with global investors and reiterated Nigeria’s commitment to fiscal discipline, economic reforms and positioning the country as a prime destination for foreign investment.
