Troops kill five terrorists, rescue three abducted children in Borno

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised five terrorists and rescued three abducted children in separate operations carried out in Borno State. The Joint Task Force said the operations took place between February 20 and 21 as part of ongoing efforts to crush insurgent groups in the North East. Spokesman for Operation Hadin Kai, Lieutenant Colonel Sanni Uba, said troops on fighting patrol made contact with suspected JAS and ISWAP members around Sabsawa village. Gunmen attack Delta APC congress, Ibori Suenu escapes alleged assassination

NAFDAC seals 18 warehouses over expired products in Niger

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has sealed 18 warehouses in Bida, Niger State, after discovering large quantities of expired food and beverage products. Officials estimate the value of the seized items at over 100 million naira. The warehouses, located around Ndazabo White House along Minna Road and behind Bida Modern Market, were shut following an intelligence led raid by NAFDAC’s Investigation and Enforcement team. Many injured as two buses collide in Plateau
