Les campeurs du Faso Mêbo en visite à l’aéroport, la base aérienne et au Mémorial Thomas Sankara

Les participants à la deuxième vague du Camp vacances Faso Mêbo de Ouagadougou ont effectué, le jeudi 18 septembre 2025, une visite éducative à l’Aéroport international de Ouagadougou, à la Base aérienne et au Mémorial Thomas Sankara. À l’aéroport, les campeurs ont découvert plusieurs installations, notamment le salon présidentiel, le tarmac, les services de sauvetage et de lutte contre l’incendie, ainsi que les services de l’immigration. La visite s’est poursuivie à la Base aérienne où les jeunes ont pu observer la flotte et explorer les différents services techniques. Cette étape visait à mettre en lumière les efforts des autorités dans le domaine de l’aviation civile et militaire, tout en suscitant des vocations parmi la jeunesse. Les Forces de Défense et de Sécurité (FDS) du Burkina Faso ont repris leur traditionnelle compétition de football militaire, la Coupe du chef d’État-major général des armées, après plus de quatre ans d’arrêt. Le tournoi a démarré le jeudi 18 septembre 2025 et se poursuivra jusqu’au 3 octobre 2025. Le match d’ouverture a opposé la Brigade Nationale des Sapeurs-Pompiers (BNSP) à la Gendarmerie nationale. La rencontre, disputée en deux mi-temps de 30 minutes, a largement tourné à l’avantage des soldats du feu, qui se sont imposés par 4 buts à 2. Burkina Faso : campagne d’assainissement des produits laitiers et aliments pour animaux

Le Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Ressources animales et halieutiques (MARAH), à travers la Direction générale des services vétérinaires (DGSV), a lancé une vaste campagne d’assainissement afin de renforcer la sécurité sanitaire des aliments pour animaux et des produits laitiers au Burkina Faso. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans l’Offensive agropastorale et halieutique 2023-2025. Le directeur général des services vétérinaires, le Capitaine Aboubacar Nacro, a présenté les premiers résultats le vendredi 19 septembre 2025 à Ouagadougou. Selon lui, au premier semestre 2025, environ 10 millions de litres de lait et 7 485 tonnes d’aliments pour animaux ont été importés par les circuits officiels. Gold Board CEO denies galamsey claims, backs anti-mining fight

Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, has dismissed suggestions that the newly established body is promoting illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey. “Let me clear some misconceptions that GoldBod is promoting galamsey. Celebrated Ghanaian playwright, theatre scholar, and cultural pioneer Dr. Mohammed Ben-Abdallah has passed away at the age of 81. His death occurred on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and was confirmed by his son, Abdul Muiz Abass, in a Facebook post the following day. “With deep sorrow and a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my beloved father, Dr. Mohammed Ibn Abdallah, who returned to his Maker yesterday. A man of wisdom, humility, and unwavering faith, he served his people, his family, and his country with honour and grace,” the post read. Gold Board CEO denies buying galamsey gold, pushes reforms

Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, has rejected claims that the newly established institution is encouraging illegal mining by purchasing galamsey gold. “To create the impression that nobody was buying galamsey gold and all of a sudden GoldBod is now giving it a market is clearly wrong,” he said on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show during a discussion on the government’s fight against illegal mining. Fire razes 15-bedroom house, GH₵100k at Gomoa Dominase

A raging fire has destroyed a 15-bedroom house and cash amounting to GH₵100,000 at Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region. The property, owned by the Abusuapayin of Gomoa Dominase, Nana Kweku Botwe, was completely consumed by the blaze along with several valuables.
