Three CNG buses explode at Kaduna motor park, no lives lost

An early morning explosion involving compressed natural gas powered buses has rocked the Mando Motor Park in Kaduna, destroying at least three luxury vehicles. The incident occurred around 3 00 to 4 00 a m on Sunday when the buses were parked in preparation for interstate trips later in the day. Eyewitnesses said a deafening blast was heard before flames and thick black smoke engulfed the section of the park where the vehicles belonging to Silver Travel & Luxury Bus were parked. The fire quickly spread from the first CNG bus to two other newly acquired buses, leaving the fleet badly charred and mangled. NAF releases successful DSSC list, training starts April 18

The Nigerian Air Force has announced the list of successful candidates for its Direct Short Service Commission Course 34 2025 and fixed April 18 2026 as the start date for their training. The shortlist follows a selection board interview held at NAF Base Kaduna between January 12 and February 8 2026. According to an official statement signed by NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the names of successful candidates have been uploaded to the service’s recruitment portal at nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng for checking and further instructions. Gov Yusuf boasts: ‘I’ll do second term in APC, not NNPP’

Two killed, many injured as speeding truck rams vehicles, pedestrians in Ibadan

A tragic multiple crash at Soka Junction in Ibadan, along the Ibadan–Lagos Expressway, has left two people dead and several others injured. The accident involved a speeding truck, multiple vehicles and pedestrians at the busy junction. According to the Oyo State Police Command, the truck was reportedly travelling at high speed when the driver lost control near the junction.
