Six killed as Lakurawa terrorists attack mosque in Kebbi

Five killed as tanker crushes schoolchildren’s tricycle in Bayelsa

Five people, including four schoolchildren and a tricycle driver, have been killed after a fuel tanker crushed a Keke Napep in Ibelebiri community, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.​ The crash happened on Wednesday afternoon along the Ibelebiri section of the Yenegwe–Okarki–Otuasega road, throwing the mainly farming and fishing community into mourning.​ Eyewitnesses said the victims were returning from school when the tanker, suspected to have suffered brake failure, veered off the road and rammed into the parked tricycle. Lagos DSVA: Simi cannot be prosecuted without evidence

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency has said it cannot prosecute singer Simi over her resurfaced 2012 tweets without concrete evidence or testimony from alleged victims.​ Executive Secretary of the agency, Lola Vivour Adeniyi, explained on Channels Television’s Morning Brief that the DSVA has a duty to begin a preliminary review of the matter because of the public outcry.
