A routine stop at a Takoma Park gas station turned into an unexpected encounter with federal immigration enforcement last Thursday, when masked men in tactical gear—later identified as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents—apprehended a man in broad daylight. A witness described how a man, later identified only as “Samuel,” sprinted into the station before being cornered by a black Kia that pulled up alongside him.
