The Ministry of Education has delivered more than 3,000 mono desks to Labone Senior High School in Accra after reports showed that some newly admitted Form One students were sitting on the floor or using dining hall benches due to a lack of furniture. According to the Ministry, Labone SHS officially requested 3,282 mono desks through the Ghana Education Service. GETFund approved the full request, and the delivery was completed on Monday, November 24. The supply forms part of a nationwide programme to distribute 200,000 mono desks to 100 senior high schools transitioning from the double-track to the single-track system. Government Engages Amantena Residents on Mining Regulation and Livelihood Programme
