Henderson Defends Ben White After Wembley Boos

England midfielder Jordan Henderson has backed Ben White after the Arsenal defender was booed by some fans at Wembley. White was jeered when he came on as a substitute and again after scoring in England’s 1–1 friendly draw with Uruguay on Friday. It was White’s first England appearance since he left the 2022 World Cup squad in Qatar, a departure officially described as being for personal reasons. Reports later suggested there had been a dispute with then assistant coach Steve Holland, which fuelled debate around his absence from the national team.
