Inside Maga Schoolgirls Abduction: Bandits Kill Vice Principal, Residents Recount Attacks
The abduction of 25 schoolgirls from Government Girls Comprehensive School, Maga, Kebbi State, left families and residents in shock. Armed bandits invaded the school hostel at night, killed Vice Principal Hassan Makuku in front of his wife, and forced their daughter to show them the hostel entrance. The bandits shot the security guard who resisted and took his phone before storming the hostel. While some girls managed to escape, several families now grieve loved ones lost or abducted. Mother Amina Hassan Makuku, who witnessed her husband’s killing, shared the traumatic events and described how she refused to follow bandits after they murdered him.
