Chad Shuts Border as Terrorists Plan to Flee Northern Nigeria Over Alleged US Military Action

The Government of Chad has announced the immediate closure of its border with Nigeria, citing security concerns following reports of a possible United States military operation over alleged Christian killings in northern Nigeria. Military sources in N’Djamena, which hosts the headquarters of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), confirmed on Monday that President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno ordered a complete military lockdown along the Chadian–Nigerian border. According to the sources, intelligence reports indicated that terrorist elements in northern Nigeria were preparing to flee across the border into Chad to evade possible airstrikes or ground assaults linked to the purported U.S. military plan. “The president has ordered that no armed group or foreign force will be allowed to enter Chadian soil under any disguise,” a senior military officer said. Trump orders immediate nuclear weapons testing amid China Russia tensions

US President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he has ordered the Pentagon to resume nuclear weapons testing to match China and Russia’s military capabilities. The decision came just minutes before his scheduled summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea. The move follows Russian President Vladimir Putin’s claim on Wednesday that Moscow successfully tested a nuclear-powered underwater drone, in defiance of US warnings. “Because of other countries’ testing programs, I have instructed the Department of War to start testing our Nuclear Weapons on an equal basis,” Trump posted on social media, directly referencing Russia and China. Trump said the United States has more nuclear weapons than any other country, crediting his administration for what he called “a complete update and renovation of existing weapons.” He added that “Russia is second, and China is a distant third, but will be […]

Venezuela’s Maduro Threatens State of Emergency Over US ‘Aggression’

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro warned on Monday that he is prepared to declare a state of emergency in response to what he called escalating US military aggression. His comments follow a string of deadly American strikes on suspected Venezuelan drug boats in the Caribbean. “Today the consultation process began…to declare a state of emergency in accordance with the constitution and protect our people, our peace, and our stability if Venezuela were attacked by the American empire, attacked militarily,” Maduro said in a televised address. Earlier, Vice President Delcy Rodriguez told foreign diplomats that Maduro had already signed a decree granting him special powers in defense and security should the US move against Venezuela.
