Renowned Ghanaian dancehall artist, Stonebwoy, has disclosed receiving an invitation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to perform at one of their campaign events ahead of the December 7, 2024, general elections.Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Stonebwoy explained that while no direct discussions with NDC officials have taken place, his team is considering the offer, which hinges on finalizing an agreeable performance fee. He hinted that proceeds from such gigs could help support his annual BHIM festival.Stonebwoy emphasized his neutrality, expressing his commitment to promoting peace during and after the elections:“When you see me on any platform, I’m performing for peace, whether NPP, NDC, or CPP, it’s for peace because we are all one Ghana.”The artist concluded by urging Ghanaians to prioritize unity, ensuring a peaceful election period.
