Ndidi Ajayi seek improvement after tough AFCON win

Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has praised the team’s resilience after a hard-fought 2–1 win over Tanzania in their opening match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, while admitting there is still room for improvement. Speaking after the game, Ndidi said starting the tournament with a victory was important for building momentum. He noted that securing the three points was the key outcome from the first match.
