Customs Sets Record With ₦20.1bn Revenue At Apapa Port
The Apapa Port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has set a new record, generating ₦20.1 billion in a single day just 24 hours after Comptroller Emmanuel Oshoba assumed office as the new Customs Area Controller. The revenue, collected on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, surpassed the previous record of ₦18 billion, making it the highest daily revenue collection by any Command in NCS history under the Unified Customs Management System (B’Odogwu). Oshoba, who replaced ACG Babatunde Olomu, said the achievement reflects his administration’s resolve to build on past successes and surpass revenue targets.
